One of the most exciting tools available in the Preclarus investigator site portal is electronic requisitioning. This capability allows sites to requisition samples. The connection has been made between the sample/patient information and bar code, the data is immediately available to PPD Laboratory services. Electronic requisitioning strengthens the chain of custody by giving sponsors and our lab team full visibility to all samples in real time. When samples arrive at any central lab location, they are immediately recognizable and available for testing sooner.
The Preclarus investigator site portal also simplifies and streamlines sample shipping. The sample management tool ensures shipping carts are automatically created based on destination facility and required shipping conditions, facilitates consolidated shipments to control shipping costs, provides 24/7 shipment tracking, and enables you to maintain chain of custody.
